Illness

If your child shows any signs of infection, please keep him/her at home, even if they insist on coming to kindergarten! Childhood infections spread very quickly in the pre-school age group, so containment is very important.

Please support our staff and all kinder families by not sending unwell children to kindergarten. 

A day at kindergarten is very exhausting for a sick child, and may hamper his/her recovery. Kindergarten is a very busy and noisy place --- not a good place to be when you are feeling unwell.

If your child has a contagious ailment --- e.g. chicken pox, head lice, measles,.etc... it is importants to notify the staff.  A sign will then be placed on the notice board to inform the other families.

Should your child have an accident at kindergarten or if they are feeling unwell, you will be contacted by a staff member and asked to come and collect your child.
